Vacancy https://www.kavyamanagementservices.in Vacancy Sat, 08 Aug 2026 06:11:20 +0530 en-us https://www.kavyamanagementservices.in Looking For Assistant Manager Design https://www.kavyamanagementservices.in/job-openings-for-assistant-manager-design-meerut-1326756.htm https://www.kavyamanagementservices.in/job-openings-for-assistant-manager-design-meerut-1326756.htm Wed, 02 Apr 2025 00:00:00 +0530 Assistant Manager NPD Job description ï¿½ï¿½ Lead the end-to-end new product development (NPD) process from concept to production. ï¿½ï¿½ Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and materials. ï¿½ï¿½ Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, etc.). ï¿½ï¿½ Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource planning for NPD initiatives. ï¿½ï¿½ Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain. ï¿½ï¿½ Monitor project progress and address risks to ensure timely product launch. ï¿½ï¿½ Work closely with customers & suppliers to understand customer requirements and expectations. ï¿½ï¿½ Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends and competitive positioning. ï¿½ï¿½ Provide technical support during customer discussions and presentations. ï¿½ï¿½ Implement and maintain best practices in NPD processes, including DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFM/DFA principles. ï¿½ï¿½ Ensure all product designs meet quality, safety, and performance standards. ï¿½ï¿½ Conduct design reviews and risk assessments to mitigate potential issues. ï¿½ï¿½ Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and components for new products. ï¿½ï¿½ Ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost-effectiveness in production. ï¿½ï¿½ Support process validation and production ramp-up for new product introductions. Qualifications & Experience: ï¿½ï¿½ Bachelor's or Masterï¿½ï¿½s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. ï¿½ï¿½ 8+ years of experience in new product development, preferably in the automotive sector. ï¿½ï¿½ Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, GD&T, and CAD tools.. ï¿½ï¿½ Excellent project management and problem-solving skills. ï¿½ï¿½ Strong communication and leadership abilities.
